Hamadan rugs are hand woven high-quality village rugs that are made in western Iran.  As you can see, by this particular specimen, the Hamadan Weavers favor the geometric design pattern sometimes using diamond shapes or hexagon shapes. Overall one of my most favorite types of rugs!
